Jim Fitzgerald is a graduate of Lynchburg College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration.
In 1985, Jim moved to Virginia and began his career with the Northwestern Mutual Financial Network. He earned his Chartered Life Underwriter designation in 1989 and his Chartered Financial Consultant designation in 1990. In 2007, Jim received his Certified Financial PlannerTM(CFP®) certification.
Jim has qualified for the Million Dollar Round Table, the National Quality Award and National Sales Achievement Awards. He has also earned two of the highest honors one can achieve at Northwestern Mutual through his status as both a Forum and MVP representative. Jim is currently the Estate and Business Planning Specialist for the Northwestern Mutual Financial Network in the State of VA, and he has invested aggressively in a talented staff.
Jim Fitzgerald furthers his professional involvement as a member of the Society of Financial Service Professionals and the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors. He is also an active participant in the Estate Planning Council of Richmond, Virginia.
Jim works with more closely held business owners than anyone else in the State; he is constantly increasing his knowledge base. There are 8000+ advisors in the country and a total of only 30 to 40 are in the top producer group for both insurance (Forum) and investment products (MVP); Jim is one of these top producers. Jim has a broad perspective on all possible solutions; not just the perspective that life insurance is the answer to all financial challenges.
